  • I have had cancer twice myself...once in 1996 and again in 1997. Breast cancer. I asked my oncologist to remove my second breast after my first mastectomy because I didn't want to wait "for the other shoe to drop" and was told it was not "medically warranted".

  • Yes, Farah Fawcett went to Germany...and she is dying. Alternative medicine is one thing, this type of treatment is questionable. If this has been being performed with such great results for so many years, how come it isn't universally done?

  • I think what was missing in this entire issue was a thing called Common Sense.  Yes, drugs are an issue in school, but why were the parents not notified?  Called before a MINOR was subjected to such an act, let alone any interrogation.

  • Though I follow the polls daily, I just remember NH and how wrong they were.  Tuesday I won't get any sleep until a winner is declared because I will pack my bags if McPain/Palyin' get elected.

  • Thanks "EdwinLee" for much of your information and insight into this issue. I agree that most of the public is either stuck at the 1st or 2nd step, but for our Republic to survive, we somehow have to make them understand what is at stake here.

  • I think we all have to hold our noses and vote "yes" on this one. The alternative was not very pretty. My father is an economist, from the FDR administration and his take is the same.
